Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of Crush on You (“Crush on You”, “we”, “us”) at crushonyou.app. By writing, sending or paying for a letter, you agree to them.
What Crush on You is
Crush on You lets you write a letter (a love letter, a crush confession or any kind message), choose a design and send it to someone as a private link. Depending on the plan, the person who receives it can answer, and you can see when it was opened.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to write, send or pay for letters. You may only send letters to people you know or have a genuine reason to contact.
Plans
- Free letters use the Classic design, carry a small “made with Crush on You” badge and stop working 7 days after you send them.
- Letter and Letter+ are paid per letter. They include the features listed on the pricing section at the time you pay, and their links don’t expire.
- Letter+ Unlimited is a one-time payment. Every letter you send while signed in to that account is a Letter+, for as long as we operate Crush on You.
Prices are set in US dollars and shown in your local currency at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. There are no subscriptions.
If we ever decide to shut Crush on You down, we will email paying customers at least 30 days before.
Your account
You don’t need an account to write a letter. When you pay, we create an account for the email you use at checkout, and you sign in with a one-time link sent to that email. Keep access to your email secure: anyone who can read it can sign in.
Acceptable use
Letters are for kindness, honesty and affection. You may not use Crush on You to:
- harass, threaten, frighten or stalk anyone, or keep contacting someone who asked you to stop;
- send sexual content to anyone who didn’t ask for it, or any sexual content involving minors;
- pretend to be someone else, or mislead the recipient about who you are in a way that could harm them;
- send spam, scams, advertising or links to malware;
- share someone’s private information or images without their consent;
- break any law.
We may remove a letter, refuse service or close an account that breaks these rules, without a refund. Anyone can report a letter by writing to hello@crushonyou.app with its link.
Your content
What you write is yours. You give us only the permission we need to store your letter, show it to whoever opens its link and email it when you ask us to. We don’t use your letters for advertising or to train AI models.
You are responsible for what you write and for having the right to share any photos, music or videos you add.
Private links
A letter is reachable by anyone who has its link. Links are long and random and we ask search engines not to index them, but we can’t control where a link goes once it’s shared. Delete a letter from your account to make its link stop working.
Answers and open tracking
When a paid letter is opened, we record when and how many times, and with Letter+ we pass the recipient’s answer and message to you. Opens from the sender’s own browser don’t count. These records can be wrong (for example, when someone opens a letter in private mode) and are not a guarantee of how anyone feels.
Refunds
See the Refund Policy. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of paying.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Crush on You available, but we don’t promise uninterrupted service. We may change or improve features over time without removing what a paid letter already includes.
Liability
Crush on You is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not responsible for how someone responds to your letter.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. We’ll email paying customers about material changes.
